Certifications

OPRA offers basic, intermediate, and advanced emergency medical response classes for those who need a certification or are just interested in being able to help a co-worker, loved one, or stranger when an emergency arises.

Five College Risk Management offers a defensive driving course, which presents safer driving strategies for operators of College vehicles. The course fulfills the requirement for becoming an approved driver of College vehicles.

Driver Certification

In order to be permitted to drive Hampshire College vehicles transporting students, you must:

  1. Complete the driver credentialing form
  2. After completing the form, you must complete the Driver Safety Training for your school.
  3. Once you've finished the course you will come to a screen that reminds you to close out the course.
  4. Select the "refresh dashboard" prompt. You will then be able to view your certificate of completion.
  5. After completing the training, please email campussafety@hampshire.edu to be added to the database of registered drivers for campus vehicles.

If you have any issues while taking the course, please feel free to contact United Educator's 24-hour Help Desk.
