Archives

Hours: Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

How we can help: The archives staff is available for remote research consultations, consultations about donating or transferring records to the archives including general institutional records, 50th anniversary donations, and Div III submissions, to which we strongly encourage submission via our Compass platform. Also, the staff can answer questions about reproduction support. Appointments are available by contacting archives@hampshire.edu. Hampshire Archives research requests can be made directly to Archivist Jes Neal jneal@hampshire.edu.

How we can help: research assistance of all kinds: planning your research strategy, finding useful sources online, choosing sources wisely for your purposes, getting the full text of scholarly articles and ebooks, tracking down additional sources based on ones you already have, finding/using/citing videos, images, and other primary sources, incorporating the voices of others ethically into your own work, using bibliographic management software such as Zotero, and more. Contact us via email and we can set up a consultation via phone or videoconference.

Media Services

Hours: Contactless Equipment Loan Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.– 4 p.m.
