How we can help: The archives staff is available for remote research consultations, consultations about donating or transferring records to the archives including general institutional records, 50th anniversary donations, and Div III submissions, to which we strongly encourage submission via our Compass platform. Also, the staff can answer questions about reproduction support. Appointments are available by contacting Hampshire Archives research requests can be made directly to Archivist Jes Neal



We are available to support students with the following: 

  • Brainstorming online/virtual exhibition ideas
  • Talking through ways to complete Div III art projects without an in-person exhibition 
  • Guidance around documenting artwork
  • Artist statement feedback and support

Librarians/Research & Instruction

How we can help: research assistance of all kinds: planning your research strategy, finding useful sources online, choosing sources wisely for your purposes, getting the full text of scholarly articles and ebooks, tracking down additional sources based on ones you already have, finding/using/citing videos, images, and other primary sources, incorporating the voices of others ethically into your own work, using bibliographic management software such as Zotero, and more. Media Services

Remote Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Remote Services: media production consultation, research, troubleshooting. I can help you figure out strategies for shooting, recording, photographing, editing, transcoding, outputting, installing, or executing any aspect of media needed for your project. I’m happy to give feedback on works in progress, point you to other artists or works that could be of use to you and your research. Or if you just need to vent.

Remote Media Office in Isolation/Exile Office Hours: A daily drop-in zoom meeting, mostly for fun/morale and "unplanned" hangout time): Monday–Friday, 2:30–3:30 p.m.
