What Happens When I Run Out of Dining and Hamp Dollars?

Students can check their Dining/Hamp Dollars balance at any dining location as well as the Hampstore by asking the cashier. When Dining Dollars and Hamp Dollars are exhausted, up to $30 in OneCard transactions per day will be billed to the student charge account.

Please note that, for full meal plan students, the Dining Commons remains fully available for one visit per meal period and snack and beverage service between meal periods, even if students have fully exhausted their Dining Dollar and Hamp Dollar balance.  If additional flexible funds are desired at any time during the semester, students can also add more Hamp Dollars to their OneCard using a Nelnet Hamp Dollars Upgrade form. Please visit the Student Accounts Office page for more information.

Getting a OneCard

Students are given their OneCard when they arrive on campus if they have submitted their photo ahead of time. Students that have not submitted a photo and new employees will need to schedule an appointment to have their picture taken to receive their OneCard.
