Handshake is Hampshire's own job and internship database, where employers go to post positions for Hampshire students. If you are a current Hampshire student or recent alum, you already have an account! Use your Hampshire username and password to log in.
The first time you log in, you will guided through some questions to set up your account. The more detail you include, the more targeted your job or internship suggestions will be, so don't skip this step!

Off-Campus Work Study
If you have work-study, you can also get PAID to work as an intern at a local non-profit. This is a great way to earn money while also gaining career experience.

You can do an internship in virtually any field, and it can be part-time, full-time, paid, or unpaid. Hampshire students do internships during the fall and spring semesters, as well as during winter and summer break. With approval from faculty, you may use an internship to fulfill your Community Engaged Learning (CEL-2) requirement.
