Information Technology User Support and Help Desk

The Information Technology Help Desk provides a first point of contact for IT assistance to the Hampshire College community and guests. User Support staff (Kate MacGregor and Rae Ann Wentworth-Cadieux) answer communication received via telephone and email, guiding clients through processes, assisting with HampNet account activation, password problems, and account maintenance. They direct inquiries to the appropriate office and delegate complex issues to other IT staff as needed.

Faculty and staff in some buildings have a dedicated support person for individual support needs. Jeff Schmittlein supports users in Cole Science Center (CSC) and Wm. Josiah Erikson assists users in Adele Simmons Hall (ASH), and Kate MacGregor is the primary user support for the remainder of the campus.
